Description

DPD Reagents are a colorimetric method based on N-Diethyl-p-phenylenediamine which, on coming into contact with the water sample, react by turning magenta in proportion to the concentration of chlorine in the water. DPD tablet reagents are white and have a crystalline appearance. When a DPD tablet reagent is not white but grey/brown in colour, this reagent cannot be used.
