Description

DPD Reagents are a colorimetric method based on N,N-Diethyl-p-phenylenediamine which, on contact with the water sample, react by turning magenta in proportion to the concentration of chlorine in the water. DPD tablet reagents are white and have a crystalline appearance. When a DPD tablet reagent is not white but grey/brown in colour, the reagent must not be used.
