Description
Heliox UV MP (medium pressure) units are intended for public pools. Because their lamps cover the entire UV radiation spectrum, they ensure more efficient elimination of chloramines compared with low-pressure (LP) systems. They are also able to ensure the inactivation of 99.9% of microorganisms, including chlorine-resistant ones. New features: Optional extras: The Heliox UV MP control architecture has a series of features that allow high levels of operating effectiveness and energy efficiency. Reading both the detected radiation and the recirculation flow rate makes it possible to adjust the power applied to the lamps so as to guarantee, at all times, a radiation dose of 60 mJ/cm2. If the flow rate drops, the radiation intensity also drops automatically (thereby avoiding unnecessarily high radiation doses, which would make the unit less efficient); in the opposite scenario, a decrease in the detected radiation (whether due to increased water turbidity or lamp ageing) causes an automatic increase in the power applied to the lamp so as to guarantee the 60 mJ/cm2 dose.
